Hello,
I am currently in UK for an MSc research internship but my level is very low in English so listening is really difficult. Consequently, I do not understand in a shop what cashiers say to say hello to me. I understand "Hi-a" or "hire" but never "hello" or "hi" or other.
Have you got an idea about it ?
