Hello,
I thought 'on a forum' was correct. But I just noticed that some natives say 'in a forum'.
Thank you for your help.

Hello again,
I have found some examples about usage of on and in before the word forum.
Examples as follow:
On most forums, users do not have to log in to read existing messages.
Poor understanding of differences in values of the participants is a common problem on forums.
For example, in an IT forum any discussion regarding anything but computer programming languages may be against the rules.
I am not quite certain if they are correct. Because I don't know whether the source was a peer reviewed one. But I have recently seen that a native member on this site used 'in the forum'.
I will be very grateful for any clarification.
