Hello,
I'm Samantha, I'm 17 and I'd like someone could help me to translate a sentence for a tattoo because I want no error. Sorry my English isn't perfect, I know...
Thanks for any reply.
My sentence in French is "tes parents t'ont donné ton premier souffle, accompagne les jusqu'à leur dernier".
Is this translation ok ? "your parents gave you the first breath of life, be with them until their last one".
But I prefer the word "accompany" instead of "be with", which one makes more sense?
Goodbye, have a great day!

Bonjour
"your parents gave you the (ton) first breath of life, be with them until their last one".
But I prefer the word "accompany" instead of "be with", which one makes more sense?
As far as I am concerned, I like "be with them..." but I think both make sense.
You may also try "remain", "stay", etc...
Best regards

Bonjour, merci pour la réponse ^^
Vous avez raison, logiquement ça devrait être "your parents gave you your first breath of life" mais j'aime pas trop les deux "you" collés..
Donc à moins que vous ayez une meilleure idée, ma phrase définitive sera:
"Your parents gave you the first breath of life, be/stay (je sais pas trop) with them until their last one"
Qu'en pensez-vous?
Bonne journée!

Hello. I would say:
"Your parents gave you (your first) breath; be there for them until their last."
See you.
