Bonjour,
je prépare mon oral de Bac anglais et voici mon texte sur la notion Idée de progrès. J'aimerais savoir ce que vous en pensez s'il vous plaît.

I am going talk about the >
First of all I would like to give a definition of this notion: The idea of progress can be defined as an improvement, a development or a change – a technical, scientific or social advance which contributes to making the world a better place.
This year in class we studied several documents about the idea of progress and in particular COP21. COP21 is the 21st Conference of the Parties on Climate Change of 2015, also called "Paris 2015" it will be held from November 30 to December 11, 2015 in Paris-Le Bourget.
I will present two documents the first is from the newspaper The Guardian and the second is a video to promote COP21.
The first document I have chosen is a newspaper article taken from the Guardian.
It deals with the problem of marches in Paris that have not been authorized.
I think progress is essential to evolve. History is made of progress and evolution that have allowed the world to be what it’s today. If we wanted to move forward in this growth we must first pay attention to the environment. Despite the attacks and the prohibition of Paris event, even as we must find another form of mobilization. The French Government think that it will have another attack during the cop21.
This is why despite the attacks in Paris and the prohibition of demonstration, even as we must find another form of mobilization.
Moreover, if the cooperation between the parties is effective, so we might soon see a revaluation of ecology in the political sphere.
The second document is a video, this is the official video of COP21. It’s a compilation of various shots showing people from all over the world, all discussing climate change. There are different types of people, cultures, ages, countries: whether there are in the street, the countryside or the seaside, the message is the same. Everyone is involved and can identify with the participants.
Through diversity and unity the video emphasizes the role we have to play.
This video is a perfect example of new technologies which contributes to making the world better. This video is a perfect example of new technologies which contributes to making the world better.
In conclusion, the sustainable development is a form of progress because it permits the improvement the living conditions. We can see some applications of the progress in daily life, which concerns us all!

- to making the world a better place: TO + INFINITIF.
- I think progress: il manque un article.
- evolution: à mettre au pluriel.
- If we wanted: temps.
- The French Government think: conjugaison.
- that it will have another attack: pas construit avec le bon verbe pour dire "il y aura".
- there are: THERE ARE = il y a.
- to making the world better.
- the improvement (il manque une préposition)the living conditions.
- We can see some applications of the progress in daily life, which concerns us all!: donner des exemples.
