Bonjour à tous et à toutes.
Mon post apparaît pour un devoir à faire. Le sujet étant George Washington. Je vous montre mon texte et j'aimerais que vous le corrigiez s'il vous plaît et si possible me donniez des astuces pour améliorer ce texte.

George Washington was born on February 22, 1732 in Westmoreland (colony of Virginia) and died on December 14, 1799 at the age of 67 years at Mount Vernon in the USA. He was the first President of the United States (1789-1797),the Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War and one of the founding Fathers of the United States.Through its participation in the Seven Years War,he quickly became famous on both sides of the Atlantic. He is also interested in political worlds.George Washington was the subject of many tributes since the end of the 18th century : his name was given to the capital of USA and a north West state.His effigy figure since 1932 on the piece of 25 quarter as well as on the dollar bill.

On ne peut pas dire que vous preniez les caractéristiques les plus importantes de sa personnalité...
erreurs en bleu, corrections en vert

He is(prétérit) also interested in political worlds.George Washington was(presetn perfect avec since au sens de depuis) the subject of many tributes since the end of the 18th century : his name was given to the capital of the USA and to a north Western state.
La dernière phrase est du français traduit maladroitement.
His effigy figure(present perfect) since 1932 on the piece(= un morceau de , une pièce, c'est coin, quarter est le surnom de la pièce de 25 cents) of 25 quarter as well as on the dollar bill.

Merci gerondif de ta réponse. Concernant ta remarque je te rapporte au fait que ses caractéristiques les plus importantes ne m'intéressent pas.
En tout cas merci de m'avoir corrigé ce contexte.
