Bonjour,
serait-il possible s'il vous plait d'avoir une correctionbrève de cet oral?
Merci d'avance pour vos réponses.
To begin, thanks to the cinema in the twentieth century appeared the first special effect. Georges Melies (1861 - 1938) is considered like special effects’ father. It mixed special effects and magic. He created his first special effect because of a malfunction of the camera. It was a wonderful coincidence ! Georges Melies was a great filmmaker, he has directed over 500 (five hundred) short films. Successful movies are « A Trip to the Moon » in 1902 (nineteen o two), « The Fairyland » on year later or « 20,000 (twenty thousand) Leagues Under the Sea » in 1907 (nineteen o seven).
Then, Georges Millès is famous because he uses "the camera stop". The principle is simple : We stopping the camera without moving and modifying one or more elements of the scene (appearance or disappearance) of objects, characters or settings. Then we restart the scene. This technique was used for the first time in « The Execution of Mary, Queen of Scots » realized by Thomas Edison. In this film, the queen was beheaded. In 1914 (ninetten forteen) there was the invention of the rotoscope by Dave and Max Fleischer brothers. It can transform a scene shot in a cartoon. Everything is based on faking like editing and cutting images. In 1933 (nineteen thirty three) the King Kong film uses two types of special effects: animation volume and manipulating a puppet for close-ups. The technique used is called animatronics, it allows host a robotic creature to give it an appearance of life. This technique is used for the dinosaurs of Jurassic Park in 1993 (nineteen ninety three). In the « Invisible Man » of James Whale, it’s the process « cache / contre cache » that is used to hide the actor.
Finally, until the end of the 80s (eighties), the special effects were created from models, sculpture or makeup. Now, the film is no longer used. With the evolution of technology, all filmmakers use digital. Today we can create fantastic creatures, sets, costumes or even arm cut only with a computer. That's real magic !
I am giving the floor to Margaux, who is going to talk about the different special effects.

Hello !
To begin (First), thanks to the cinema in the twentieth century appeared the first special effect (ordre des mots!). Georges Melies (1861 - 1938) is considered like special effects’ father (pas de génitif ici). It mixed special effects and magic. He created his first special effect because of a(the) malfunction of the(a) camera. It was a wonderful coincidence ! Georges Melies was a great filmmaker, he has directed over 500 (five hundred) short films. His ??? Successful movies are « A Trip to the Moon » in 1902 (nineteen o two), « The Fairyland » onE year later or « 20,000 (twenty thousand) Leagues Under the Sea » in 1907 (nineteen o seven).
Then, Georges Millès is famous because he uses= temps? "the camera stop". In 1914 (ninetten forteen) there was the invention of the rotoscope by Dave and Max Fleischer (who were) brothers. It can transform a scene shot inTO a cartoon. In "the Invisible Man » of James Whale, it’s the process « cache / contre cache » Lien internet
that is used to hide the actor.
Finally, until the end of the 80s (eighties), the special effects were created from models, sculptureS or makeup. Now, the film is no longer used. With the evolution of technology, all film makers use digital (= an adjective). Today we can create fantastic creatures, sets, costumes or even arm cut only with a computer. That's real magic !
