A traditional hero is someone morally good, courageous, noble and good of hearts who fight against villains. We all know the super-heroes like batman, spider-man, superman thanks to the TV and the movies but real humans can also be considering as heroes such as the journalists. We can ask:
To what extent can we consider journalists as heroes?

To start with, they bring to light the inequalities and the misdeeds of our world. In fact, many bad actions are committed in the world everyday and journalists’ aim is to make them know by everyone to correct them after. For example, two journalists have denounced the unequal prices of the driving license in different city, this denunciation allowed to start an investigation.
Then, they take many risks for us. Indeed, their work is very dangerous, they can be tortured, kidnapped or assassinated, especially when they go abroad but also in their own country. For instance, lots of journalists are reported missing in Islamic Countries or, this January, some cartoonists died during the bombing of Charlie Hebdo in Paris.
Moreover, the power of the journalists is very high. They manage the information around the world. In fact, every news we learn comes from journalists’ work. If they did not exist, we would never have know that Paris has suffered three attacks this Friday, November 13th. Their power is so strong that it even exceeds the one of the State. For instance, during the Watergate Scandal, the state tried to censor the press, in vain, because the journalists have always benefited of the freedom of speech and the right not to reveal their sources.

However, sometimes journalists did not act as heroes.
Heroes are supposed to save lives but they can destroy some lives. Because of the power over the information they hold, they can say whatever they want, without problems and lots of people will believe them, even if they are lying. It’s the case of Jerome Cahuzac, a socialist minister who had to stop his career because of his taxes fraud denounced by Media Part. But it’s also the case of DSK who had to stop his political career because of his trial sexual assault on Nafissatou Dialo in the USA.
The journalists don’t always tell the truth. In fact, the information has to be given as soon as possible, and sometimes journalists don’t check if the information is true. Recently, two AFP journalists resigned from their duties because they made an incorrect announcement of the death of Martin Bouygues, who were still alive.

In conclusion, we can consider journalists as heroes because their work is very brave, indeed it is dangerous but it is also very useful for everyone. But, unfortunately, they can also act as anti-heroes. They have the power to destroy lives and sometimes they can lie.
From my point of view, I consider journalists as big heroes because of the risks they take, they sacrificed their lives for us. But, it’s true that sometimes they can lie, so we have to be careful and stay open minded.

Merci d'avance !

Heroes and Heartbreakers is thrilled to be joined today by Marla Cooper, author of the mystery novel Terror in Taffeta, which came out today! Like the title suggests, Marla's book takes place at a wedding. We already knew a lot could go wrong at a wedding, but things go especially bad when murder is involved. Marla is here today to talk about the perks—and dangers—of weddings in distant locales. Thanks, Marla!

When I got married, the idea of destination weddings hadn't caught on yet. But from the moment I first heard someone mention throwing an extended wedding celebration in an exotic location, I was hooked. That's why I made the protagonist of my mystery series, Terror in Taffeta, a destination wedding planner: so I could live vicariously as she traveled around the world to drop-dead-gorgeous, romantic destinations.

There are a lot of great reasons to throw a destination wedding, but keep in mind that there are also some dangerous pitfalls to keep in mind. (This should also serve as fair warning to anyone who's about to check the “will attend” box on the RSVP card. Think it through, people!)

PERK: By their very nature, destination weddings are unique, memorable and romantic. Whether it's a beach in Maui, a villa in Tuscany, or a dude ranch in Wyoming, you'll have unforgettable memories and amazing photos to back them up. (Bonus: Just think how jealous your Facebook friends will be!)

DANGER: Being in another country means that when something goes wrong—and something always goes wrong—it's hard to know who to turn to for help. What if you don't speak the language? What if you can't find a local dry cleaner you trust? What if the local police think you committed the murder—or whatever. That's just an example. Bad example. Never mind.

PERK: Traveling to far-flung places means fewer people will be able to attend—which means you don't have to feel pressured to include random cousins, childhood friends, and coworkers you don't even like all that much. You can keep the guest list small and enjoy a meaningful, intimate ceremony without stressing about the guests.

DANGER: You might feel tempted to invite someone under the assumption they would never plunk down the airfare to fly across the world to attend your wedding. Those are invariably the people who surprise you with an RSVP of “Yes”—and when Wanda from accounting is standing there with your closest friends and relatives, it will be extra obvious who doesn't fit in.

PERK: It's a great way to bring together your favorite people, like a family reunion, girlfriend getaway, and group vacation all rolled into one! You get plenty of one-on-one time with your guests, and experience the joy of seeing people from different parts of your life come together to celebrate.

DANGER: If any of your guests have a reason to dislike any of the other guests—including but not limited to ugly breakups, corporate espionage, jealousy (professional or personal), or financial malfeasance—you've stuck them together in an intense, multi-day situation from which there is little room to escape. Congratulations, you've just created the perfect setup for a murder!

Remember, not all destination weddings end in murder, but based on the experience of my heroine, Kelsey McKenna, many do. Just be cautious, and beware of guests who don't RSVP!
voilà c'est ma réponse !
pour mieux préciser ça parle d'un mariage avec heros !
