Hello !
I'm a French student, and I'm trying to learn English, but I'm stuck with this phrase, I can't understand why British say :
I do not mind HIM leaving
and why not :
I do not mind HIS leaving?

Hello.
The meaning is different.
I don't mind him driving ( ing verbal form)means that you accept this man as a driver.
I don't mind his driving (gerund) means that you like his way of driving.
