Clémentine (thème)
Message de booboz97 posté le 15-06-2006 à 15:27:08 (S | E | F | I)

Salut!

Around two pm, Clementine would suddenly realize that her elder daughters would come back home in just three hours and that she had carried out none of a mother's tasks.

She would then jump into ordinary clothes, would run to the street corner and buy some serious food, would get back in order to give the home a possible appearance, would throw the dirty linen into the washing machine then would leave to school and fetch the children. In her eagerness, she didn't always have the time or presence of mind to take off Perclude's disguise for the simple reason that, in her opinion, it was not a disguise.

So a cheerful young woman could be seen walking along the street, holding the hand of a minute creature who was adorned in such a way as princesses of The Thousand and One Nights would not have dared to adorn themselves.

When school came out, this sight would alternately cause perplexity, laugh, wonder and disapproval.

Nicole and Beatrice would cry out in joy on seeing their little sister's getup, but some mothers would say loudly and clearly :

- It's incredible dressing a child this way!
- She is not an animal for circus!
- It'll be hardly surprising that the girl goes to the dogs later!
- Using her children to draw attention to herself, this is unspeakable!

That's all from me for tonight. I can't wait for next Sunday!
See you.

Hello.
Chose promise ......
Voici ma proposition niveau "anglaisfacile+ 2" et quelques arrangements personnels avec le texte de départ

Around 2PM Clémentine suddenly realized that the elders daughterswould come back within 3 hours and she hadn’t carried out any of the mother’s tasks
Then she jumped into their ordinary clothes, ran to the corner of the street in order to buy serious food, came back home to give to the house a possible good looking, threw the dirty linen into the washing machine and left toward the school to fetch the children
In her eagerness sometimes she was short time or forgot to take off Perclude's disguise by simple reason of she didn't see it as a disguise.
So, a playful young woman was seen walking in the street holding the hand of a microscopic creature adorned in such a look as the princesses of the thousand and one nights wouldn't have dared to. When the children came out of school, this sight alternatively caused perplexity, laughs and amazement or disapprovals.
Seeing their young sister's get-up, Nicole and Béatrice shouted happily but some mothers said loudly and clearly:
- It's impossible to dress a child like that!
- It is not an animal for circus!
- No need to be astonished if this girl turns toward a bad way, later!
- Using her children to make sound interesting, it is unspeakable!

Bonjour

Let's try

Around 2 pm,Clémentine suddenly realized that the elders would be back in less than three hours and she didn't carry out any task that any mother should .
She then put ordinary clothes on,ran to the corner of the street to buy food, came back to give home an acceptable look, threw the dirty clothes in the washing machine and then went too school to pick the children up . In her hurry she didn't always have the time or the presence of mind to take at Perclude her disguise of for the only reason that in her mind , it was just a costume .

So we could see a lighthearted woman walking in the street, holding in her hand a microscopic creature arrayed like would have never dreamed to be dressed a princess of the tale ( one thousand and one Night) .

At school gate, this kind of show would live you perplex, laugh,or let you amazed and desaprove.

At the view of their sister's dress up Nicole and Béatrice would shout for joy , but some mother were saying with a loud and intelligible voice :

What an idea to dress a kid this way !
she is not a circus attraction !
Don't be amazed if this kid turns a bad way later !
Using kids to make yourself wild, is unforgivable !

Have a nice weekend

hello booboz, your translations are thrilling but PLEASE give us more time, please...

At about 2 o'clock, Clementine realized that the eldest girls would be back within hardly three hours and that she had fulfilled none of her mother's tasks.
She jumped into her ordinary clothes, ran to the corner of the street to buy real food, came back to tidy the house, threw the dirty linen into the washing machine, then went to school to get the children. Eager as she was, she had no time or presence of mind to take off Perclude's fancy dress, simply because for her it was not a disguise.
Thus one could see a lively young woman walking in the street holding the hand of a minute creature decked out as no princess from the Arabian Nights would have dared to.
When school came out, this sight gave rise alternately to perpexlity, laugh and disapproval.
Nicole et Béatrice shouted with joy at seeing their little daughter's rig out but some of the mothers said loudly and clearly :
- It's incredible dressing a child like that !
- She is not an animal for circus !
- It wouldn't surprise me if the little one turns out badly later !
- To make use of one's children to focus the attention, it is unspeakable !

Bonjour booboz97

Clementine,
At about fourteen o’clock, Clémentine suddenly noticed that the elder daughters would return within hardly three hours and she had fullfilled none of the tasks of the housewife.
She jumped then into common clothes, ran around the corner to buy fresh food, came back at home to give it a in order appearance, threw the dirty linens in the machine then went to school to look for the children. In her haste, she still had no time or the presence of mind to take off Perclude’s disguise.

So the people saw walking in the street a cheerful young lady, holding by the hand a little creature adorned as had not dared it the princesses of the Thousand One at Nights.
At the exit of the school this spectacle provoked alternately the perplexity, the laughter, the delight and the disapproval.
Nicole and Beatrice always cried out with joy by seeing the getup of their younger sister, but certain mothers said aloud and understandable voice :
- We have no idea to dress a child like that!
- It is not an animal of circus!
- You will not should wonder if this girl turns badly, later!
- Use her children to make sound interesting, it is unspeakable!

Hello,
Traduire à cette heure-ci !!!
Mais je suis dans les temps, ouf !

At about 2.00 p.m. Clementine would suddenly realize the elder daughters would come back home in hardly 3 hours and she had done none of the tasks a mother should do.
She would then jump into ordinary clothes, run to the corner of the street and buy some man-sized food, come back home to get every possible thing in order, throw the dirty linen into the washing-machine and then go to the school and fetch her children. In her hurry she would sometimes not have got any time or presence of mind to take off Perclude’s disguise just because in her own eyes it was not a disguise.
Thus we could see a cheerful young woman walking in the street, holding the hand of a microscopic creature arrayed in such a way as the Princesses of The Thousand and One Nights would not have dared to.
When school was over, that show would alternately cause perplexity, laughter, wonder and disapproval.
Nicole and Beatrice would shout for joy when seeing their little sister’s dress up, but some mothers would say in a loud and intelligible voice :
-dressing a child like that is incredible !
-she is not a circus animal !
-it won’t be surprising if this little one turns in a bad way later !
-using one’s own children to make oneself a wise guy is unspeakable !

Voilà .... Voici une proposition :

At about two o’clock, Clémentine suddenly realised that the elder girls would be back in barely three hours’ time and that she had carried out none of the duties of a mother. So she jumped into ordinary clothes, dashed off to the corner shop to buy some sensible food, went home to give the place the appearance of tidiness, shoved the dirty linen into the machine then left for school to fetch the children. In her haste, she didn’t always have the time or the presence of mind to take Perclude’s disguise off simply because, for her, it was not a disguise.
Thus it was that a spritely young lady could be seen walking along the street, holding the hand of a microscopic creature, adorned as the princesses in the Arabian Nights would never have dared to be.
At the school gate, the sight of them prompted, alternatly, perplexed, amused, marvelled or disapproving reactions. Nicole and Béatrice would always shout with joy when they saw how their little sister was dressed up, but some mothers said, loud enough to be clearly heard :
– « It’s disgraceful to dress a child like that ! »
– « She’s not a circus animal ! »
– « Don’t be surprised if this little one comes to a bad end later on ! »
– « Using your own children to show off, there’s no name for it ! »

Bravo à tous et à toutes ... Bon match ou bonne traduction car j'ai laissé de quoi vous divertir
